In 1997 the Indian Paper Industry experienced a revolution. A revolution in paper quality powered by a company called Fimakem and its product called WGCC – an Advanced Ultrafine Wet Ground Natural Calcium Carbonate Slurry. WGCC was introduced for the first time in India as a filler and coating material and Fimakem introduced it as a unique concept – onsite and satellite WGCC plants set up on exclusive basis for a customer.
