WOLLASTONITE FOR FRICTION MATERIALS

Wollastonite in Friction Applications

Wolkem’s milled, HAR and surface modified Wollastonite grades are highly inert, acicular in nature and have a high melting temperature. These grades are used as secondary reinforcement fillers in dry mix non-asbestos organic friction materials such as brake linings, brake pads, clutch facings, friction papers and heavy-duty blocks.
